In 2024, my partner Jess moved over a few months before I did. When I said goodbye to my mum and nan at Heathrow, I saw how far away Australia could feel.
If someone you love has moved interstate or out on site, there’s a good chance they won’t tell you the hard parts. The new life looks great on the phone. The quiet Tuesdays don’t make the call.
You order from the UK, we hand-pack it here in Sydney, and it never makes the 17,000km trip.

Can I order a gift from the UK for delivery in Australia?+
Yes. Order online and use the Australian address of the person receiving it. Your gift is hand-packed and dispatched from Sydney; you do not need to post a parcel from the UK.
Which box should I choose?+
Start with their week. A tough week or a quiet night in: Hug Away From Home. A new job or a new home: New Beginning. A big trip: The Traveller. Some time to herself: For Her. Coffee and good snacks: For Him. Or choose every item yourself in the Gift Builder. Each box page lists ingredients and options.
How long does delivery take?+
Usually allow 3-7 business days from order to arrival for most Australian addresses. Transit is usually 2-5 business days after dispatch. WA, NT, Tasmania and regional or remote addresses can take longer. These are estimates, so allow extra time for a birthday or Christmas and check the current delivery information.
What currency do I pay in?+
Australian dollars, and pricing is hidden from the recipient.
How does the personal message work?+
You can add a personal message of up to 280 characters. It opens on their phone when they scan the QR code on the premium card inside the gift. An optional photo or video opens from the same code with your chosen secret phrase and can be replayed for around six months.
Do I need to arrange international shipping or customs forms?+
No. Same Skies orders are fulfilled from stock in Australia and delivered within Australia. If you are posting a separate parcel from Britain, its contents and paperwork need the relevant international checks.
Will they have to pay anything when it arrives?+
No. Delivery is included and the box is posted within Australia, so there are no customs or import fees at their door.
Will the treats survive an Australian summer?+
Everything’s packed in Sydney and travels within Australia, so it’s in transit for days, not weeks. If anything arrives melted in a heatwave, tell us and we’ll put it right.
What if they’re not home?+
Australia Post will usually leave it in a safe place, or leave a card so they can collect it from their local Post Office. If you add wine, someone 18 or over has to sign for it, so it can’t be left in a safe place.
Can I track it?+
Yes. We send tracking to you, the sender, and email you when it’s delivered. If you add their email when you write your message, we’ll email them too as soon as Australia Post marks it as delivered.
What if it arrives damaged?+
Email hello@sameskies.com.au with your order number, and a photo if you can. We’ll put it right with a replacement or a refund.
Do I need their phone number?+
No. Checkout asks for their name and Australian address, not a phone number. Add their unit or apartment number if they have one.
Will they know it’s from me?+
Yes. Add your message (it’s free) and it opens on their phone when they scan the QR code on the premium card in the box, with an optional photo or video. The price is never shown to them.
